One Plus will formally launch the OnePlus 3 on June 14. Ahead of its launch, the phone has been leaked in all its glory online with specs and price leaving nothing to the imagination. The OnePlus 3 — as per an Oppomart listing — will carry a price tag of $369 (roughly Rs 25,000) although it isn’t clear whether the price mentioned is for the 4GB RAM or the 6GB RAM variant. The listing mentions both the variants, so chances are this could be the starting price of the OnePlus 3 with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.
The OnePlus 3 as per the listing will be available in 32G, 64GB and 128GB memory options. While on the RAM front, it is said to be offered in 4GB and a massive 6GB RAM options.
Furthermore, the listing touts the OnePlus 3 as carrying a 5.5-inch FullHD display with a 1920×1080 pixels resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood. The 4G LTE capable phone is said to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS out-of-the-box and will have a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is said to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Meanwhile, live photos leaked by The Malignant on Twitter confirm @evleaks’ previous leak vis-a-vis the OnePlus 3’s very HTC One-like design scheme.
The alleged OnePlus 3 is seen boasting a full-metal unibody, which if true will be a first for a OnePlus phone. Previous OnePlus phones have been plastic (with the exception of the OnePlus X which was glass and metal) with a metallic outer frame.
The back is very reminiscent of HTC One phones, with clear antenna lines and squared out camera module with a prominent bulge. The OnePlus logo sits below the camera set-up.
While the left edge has an alert slider and volume rocker, the right side of the phone has a SIM slot and power button. The 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and speaker out meanwhile sit on the lower end of the device.
In another news, OnePlus has started rolling out the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the OnePlus 2. Owners of the OnePlus 2 can now download and install the very latest OxygenOS 3.0.2 update for their phone.
